Vysor Alternatives: Free and Paid Ways to Mirror Android

The best Vysor alternatives for mirroring and controlling Android from a PC: scrcpy, QtScrcpy, Phone Link and multi-phone tools, compared.

Updated Oct 25, 20267 min readBy the RovaFlow team

Vysor is a popular way to see and control an Android phone from a computer, but the free version limits quality and some features, and it was designed around one phone at a time. If you want something free, faster, or able to handle several phones, these are the alternatives worth trying, with what each one is good at.

Quick picks: best free option: scrcpy. Best free option with a graphical interface and multi-phone control: QtScrcpy. Built into Windows for supported phones: Microsoft Phone Link. For a wall of 10–100+ phones: multi-device control software such as RovaFlow.

1. scrcpy: the best free alternative

scrcpy is a free, open-source tool from Genymobile. It mirrors the phone's screen in a window, forwards audio (Android 11+), and lets you use your mouse and keyboard on the phone. It has no ads or watermarks, low lag, and nothing to install on the phone.

  • Pros: free, very fast, high quality, works over USB or Wi-Fi, scriptable.
  • Cons: started from a command line; one window per phone.
winget install --exact Genymobile.scrcpy
scrcpy --max-size 1024

Running it on several phones? See scrcpy for multiple devices.

2. QtScrcpy: scrcpy with a graphical interface

QtScrcpy is a free, open-source desktop app that uses the same technique as scrcpy but adds buttons for connecting devices, Wi-Fi setup and recording. It also has a group control mode, where input on one phone is repeated on the others. That makes it a good free step up for a small number of phones.

  • Pros: free, no command line, multi-phone group control.
  • Cons: each phone is still its own window; no scheduling or workflow automation.

Phone Link connects your Android phone to Windows for notifications, messages, photos and calls. On supported phones (many Samsung and some other brands) it can also mirror the screen and open phone apps on the PC.

  • Pros: already on Windows, no cables, good for everyday personal use.
  • Cons: full mirroring only on supported phones; one phone at a time; not built for control or automation.

4. RovaFlow: for many phones at once

If you've moved from one phone to a desk or rack full of them, single-window tools turn into window juggling. RovaFlow shows every connected phone in a live screen wall, repeats your taps, swipes and typing on all selected phones (one-to-many control), and adds groups, no-code workflows, scheduling, mass APK install and device health monitoring.

  • Pros: built for 10–100+ real phones, one window for everything, automation built in, one-time price.
  • Cons: paid, Windows only, more than you need for a single phone.

How to choose

  • One phone, occasionally: Phone Link if your phone supports it; otherwise scrcpy.
  • One phone, daily, best quality: scrcpy.
  • 2–10 phones, free: QtScrcpy for group control, or scrcpy with a launch script.
  • 10+ phones, or repeated tasks every day: dedicated multi-device software.

All of these except Phone Link need USB debugging; setup takes two minutes and is covered in How to control multiple Android phones from one PC.

Managing more than a handful of phones?

RovaFlow puts every phone in one live screen wall with one-to-many control, groups, workflows and scheduling. Windows, real devices, one-time price, free installation.

FAQ

Is there a free alternative to Vysor?

Yes. scrcpy is free and open source, mirrors and controls an Android phone over USB or Wi-Fi with low lag, and has no ads or resolution limits. QtScrcpy is a free graphical app built on the same approach.

Which Vysor alternative works with multiple phones?

scrcpy opens one window per phone. QtScrcpy adds a group control mode that repeats input on several connected phones. For dozens of phones in one screen wall with grouping and scheduling, use dedicated multi-device software such as RovaFlow.

Do Vysor alternatives need root?

No. scrcpy, QtScrcpy and RovaFlow all work through ADB with USB debugging turned on; no root is required.

Why does Vysor show lower quality in the free version?

Vysor limits some features, such as higher quality and wireless mode, to its paid Pro plan. Free tools like scrcpy let you set resolution and bit rate yourself.
